Recruitment privacy notice.

How we use the details you send us. Last updated 4 November 2026.

Who we are

Myhire is a trading name of Genius Technologies Ltd (company number 17457745, registered office 24a Aldermans Hill, London, N13 4PN), which is responsible for the personal information you send through the recruitment pages of this website, by email or on a call. We are the “controller” of that information under UK data protection law. You can reach us at recruitment@geniustechnologies.uk.

This website uses no cookies and no analytics.

What we collect

Please don’t put sensitive details (such as health information) in your CV or messages unless you want us to know them.

How we use it

We do this because it is necessary to take steps you’ve asked for, for our legitimate interest in running a recruitment business, and to meet our legal obligations, including the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003. We don’t make decisions about you by automated means.

Who we share it with

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. When they do, it is protected by safeguards approved under UK law. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate details for up to two years after we were last in touch, so we can tell you about suitable roles, then delete them. Client enquiries we keep for as long as we work together, and up to two years after. Where the law requires us to keep a record for longer, we keep it for as long as required. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it or to object to us using it, and to have it sent to you or someone else in a usable format. Email recruitment@geniustechnologies.uk and we’ll reply within a month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
